Adventurer Showreel

This is a showreel I've created in my third year at falmouth university, it features an amazing Adventurer rig by Kiel figgins!

For this project I've decided to try and improve in a more stylised and cartoony animation style, I've chosen the adventurer rig to keep the art style of the character fitting with the intended animation style. The showreel features a set of game ready animations designed to be used in any game with a 3rd person camera. The locomotion animations I made are idle breathing, walking, running and jumping. For combat I made a combat idle, light attack, heavy attack and taking damage.

Conan Showreel

I created this showreel in first year of studying games development - animation at Falmouth university for a project where I was tasked with creating a set of animations for an archetype of my choice. The archetype I chose was guardian and the Conan rig from advanced skeleton felt like the right choice! As previously mentioned, the archetype I chose was a guardian and the animations were supposed to portray Conan as a very stereotypical, strong and slightly dumb who can pack a punch. After completing all planned animations and having a huge amount of fun doing so, I've decided to create a little extra 'taunt' animation in a form of what the youth calls 'whip and nae nae'.

Principles of Animation

This is the showreel I created in the first term of first year at Falmouth university.
The reasoning for this task was to explore all the basic principles of animations such as squash and stretch, timing, anticipation and many others. For this showreel I've used a variety of different rigs, from a simple cube to a sack of flour to showcase the understanding of twelve principles of animation.
